Site surveys within our core service areas (Buckinghamshire and London) are provided free of charge. For locations outside these areas, a survey charge may apply depending on distance and project scope. Any applicable charges will be clearly communicated before arranging the survey and may be credited back upon project confirmation.

5. Ordering and Contracts

5.1 Order Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase Services from us. No contract exists between you and Planex Solutions for the provision of Services until we have received your written acceptance of our Quotation and confirmed the order in writing.

5.2 Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order after acceptance but before installation commences, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply to cover costs already incurred, including but not limited to, materials ordered specifically for your project. These charges will be clearly communicated at the time of cancellation.

5.3 Deposits and Payment

We may require a deposit before commencing work, particularly for larger projects. The deposit amount will be specified in your Quotation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final payment is due upon completion of the installation and your satisfaction with the work performed.

6. Delivery and Installation

6.1 Installation Timeframes

Any installation dates or periods mentioned on our website or in communications are approximate only and may vary. While we make every effort to ensure that all Services are delivered within the specified timeframe, we cannot be held responsible for delays due to factors beyond our control.

6.2 Access Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that we have appropriate access to your premises on agreed installation dates. Additional charges may apply if our installation team is unable to gain access or if installation is delayed due to site conditions not disclosed during the survey.

6.3 Furniture and Equipment

Unless you have specifically engaged our Furniture Lift service, you are responsible for removing and replacing furniture, equipment, and other items from the installation area. We accept no liability for damage to items left in the installation area during works.

6.4 Subfloor Conditions

Our Quotation assumes that your subfloor is in suitable condition for the specified flooring installation. If additional subfloor preparation is required beyond what was identified during the survey, this will be discussed with you, and additional charges may apply.

7. Warranties and Liability

7.1 Workmanship Warranty

We warrant that all installation work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill by qualified professionals. Our workmanship warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of installation completion.

7.2 Product Warranties

Manufacturer warranties apply to the products we install. These vary by manufacturer and product type and will be provided to you upon project completion. These warranties are subject to proper maintenance and usage as specified by the manufacturer.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, arising from your use of our website or Services, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
